Key Purpose

The Senior Designer will be focusing on taking projects from concept to completion with the ability to drive innovation and pushing creative and projects to new avenues. This is a chance to be collaborative with creating designs within the Lions brand. The role requires an outstanding portfolio of work across different platforms where the story and methodology of each completed project can be well articulated.

Key Accountabilities
  • Creating brand designs: including formats and templates.
  • Creating print and digital assets for events and web sites.
  • Editorial design as required
  • Marketing and communication documents as required, including; digital design for email marketing, websites, social media, video and online campaigns
  • Presentation design for marketing and communication purposes
  • Creating presentations and corporate documents
  • Good understanding of editorial publishing, print design and digital design knowledge
  • Able to deliver project deadlines under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skill liaising with third party partners
  • A collaborative and professional approach to working with stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field required
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in professional creative environment.
  • A natural Designers flair with the ability to execute them to a high standard
  • An accurate & considered approach to design and template creation / management
  • Advanced Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills
  • Good knowledge of HTML and CSS required, together with an interest in front end web technologies such as Javascript & jQuery.
  • Demonstrable experience as a Middle Weight / Senior Designer
  • Articulate and confident communicating to all levels of company staff
  • Working across multiple delivery channels
  • Mentoring Junior Designers
  • Advanced Web Layout skills, that are creative and innovative
  • Outstanding portfolio that illustrate all the skills from print to editorial to digital design.
     IT Experience
    • Must be familiar with general computer use including Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint and outlook
    • High proficiency in Adobe CS6 Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe PDF Pro, Photoshop)
    • Flash, HTML skills and online animation is a plus.
    • Good knowledge of HTML and CSS required, together with an interest in front end web technologies such as Javascript & jQuery.
    • Mac user
    • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
    • Ability to manage a heavy workload and to be able to hold accountability and deliver a wide range of tasks
