Key Purpose
An exciting new role is available in the Cannes Lions team to improve data driven decision making and improve customer knowledge across the organisation
The ideal candidate will communicate and work well with a wide range of people, and is able to negotiate and network effectively internally and externally. 
You will understand how to engage and connect with a range of stakeholders. You will be enthusiastic and committed and able to identify new opportunities through excellent research, insight and analysis.

Key Accountabilities
  • Ownership and delivery of business insight to relevant stakeholders, both as part of standard reporting and to satisfy ad-hoc requests (across all departments).
  • Developing tools and architectures to allow the business better self-source data and insights
Data Architecture
Develop an exceptional knowledge of, and be responsible for, maintaining and improving the data architecture across all systems, to ensure accurate day to day reporting and business insights including but not limited to: 
  • Ongoing maintenance of segmentation look-up tables
  • Input into the logic required for any new segmentations
  •  Developing the Cannes Lions data hierarchies and taxonomy structures as well as checking and improving the data logic (new layer in hierarchy, changes in relationships across the board etc.)
  • Improvement and enrichment of customer and market data, including:
           - Defining data capture requirements and sources
           - Defining, monitoring and improving data processes; being the champion of data quality across the business
           - Working with relevant team to implement changes (process and systems) and enhance   /develop new products (e.g. business architecture, marketing, NPD, data team)
  •  Oversight and delivery of research based customer insights (in conjunction with the cross-brand research team), including:
                -  Annual events surveys incorporating NPS
                - Lost customer analysis
  • Delivery and definition of marketing campaign analytics, tracking and insights
  • Defining data requirements, quality and collection to improve business and customer insight, and develop new products
  • Extensive CRM programs experience, helping to deliver both new programs and the evolution of existing programs via ‘test & learn’ initiatives
  •  Use of data analytics tools. Must have experience of SalesForce and Ideally experience of some/all of: Tableau, PowerBI, R, Python, SQL, Marketo
  • Strong Leadership and Influencing skills; interacting with C-Suite stake-holders and leading/developing teams; highly personable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Advanced analytical techniques (e.g. correlation, cluster analysis) to support key decisions
  • Customer-led viewpoint and insight focus
  • Able to use data and insight creatively
  •  Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  •  High degree of numeracy
  • Managing change and embedding new technologies and working practices
