Money 20/20 organises the largest global events enabling payments and financial services innovation for connected commerce at the intersection of mobile, retail, marketing services, data and technology

Money 20/20 is launching its first China edition in Hangzhou in November 2018. Although the global series of events is well-known in the US and European markets, the awareness is low in China and Asia. To successfully launch the first event and lay the foundation for the next years, build up its on-line presence through own social media and paid digital media is essential.
About the role

We're looking for a Digital & Social Media Executive to join our team in China. As part of our Marketing, your key responsibilities will include:
  • To amplify the digital performance with consultancy and support from the digital agency.
  • To develop promotion and content strategy for Money 20/20’s owned media channels, with a focus on Wechat.
  • To manage Money 20/20’s owned social media channels in China,
  • To develop strategic plan for digital media buy and SEM.
Your experience
  • 1+ year experience in digital (internship included), ideally social media, digital, and PR agency experience or in-house corporate communication.
  • Knowledgeable of digital landscape in China.
  • Practiced in managing Wechat and Weibo official accounts.
  • Strong writing skill in Chinese.
  • Good at data analysis.
  • Knowledgeable of the overall marketing mix, and understand how social media and digital can support building the brand and achieving marketing KPI.
  • Native Chinese; and fluent in writing and speaking English desirable.
  • Skilful in design (Photoshop and Illustrator) and video editing desirable.
  • Experience of working within the events industry or Ascential Events key market sectors desirable.
  • Degree in marketing and digital
  • International and multinational company experience desirable.
