We’re looking for a passionate, highly ambitious Strategic Account Manager to join our sales team in Brighton. Reporting into the Head of Channel, you will be fully accountable for an allocated number of clients focusing on driving customer retention, new business, up selling opportunities and increasing overall product penetration.

You will be a revenue and target focused individual with a proven sales track record and strong negotiation and strategic planning skills. In return, Groundsure will reward you with an uncapped commission scheme, a detailed personal development plan and the opportunity to create your own success.

About the role
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • To negotiate terms and manage a portfolio of channel partners in GB       
  • To sell the entire residential and commercial Groundsure product portfolio via your accounts        
  • Arrange and attend sales meetings with your accounts        
  • Negotiate contracts with your accounts and increase market share        
  • Draft proposals and contracts with the support of the Head of Channel        
  • Create strategic account plans for all accounts to identify growth opportunities        
  • Create joint marketing campaigns and promotions with your accounts      
  • Deliver effective CPD presentations to your accounts clients to increase adoption        
  • Follow up on inbound leads to develop relationships with your accounts     
  • Provide training to your accounts so they can resell your products effectively        
  • To gather feedback from your target market so the business can understand users’ needs, basically drive product development        
  • To manage requests and ensure clients receive a timely response      
  • To ensure all contacts information is accurate and recorded in Salesforce        
  • To maintain an up to date knowledge of the legal and property industry        
  • Maintain excellent relationships with accounts at all levels 

Your experience

  • Experienced account manager, channel management a benefit
  • Able to deliver presentations confidently
  • Able to understand and resell a technical product
  • Consistent top sales performer
  • Experienced planner and capable of delivering a business plan
  • Able to create successful proposals and bids
  • Experience negotiating legal agreements and contracts
  • Experience of the professional legal land and property sector beneficial
  • Consultative solution selling is an advantage
  • A full clean UK driving license is a must
  • Must be familiar with general computer use including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Preferably experienced with Salesforce;
