Key Purpose

Define, develop and drive the core strategy, roadmap, and execution of all initiatives around the email and marketing automation business as well as the strategic creation of new email initiatives and campaigns

Key Accountabilities

  • Enable marketing to truly begin to use marketing automation on a personalized basis improving conversion rates
  • Own the marketing automation platform (Marketo) and ensure both technical and operational best practices are utilized and aligned with top-level business goals
  • Be knowledgeable and develop growth solutions around our enterprise partners marketing cloud platforms – specifically related to email and marketing automation (Salesforce, Marketo etc.)
  • Work with core marketing teams to build multi-channel (email, display, social, and web) nurture programs including program logic, measurement models and landing pagesWork with Sales team to align marketing automation strategy and tactics with callers strategies and tactics using complex drip and nurture campaigns and effective use of CRM tool and data insights available to drive conversion 
  • Responsible for key account retention strategy including the allocation and management of top 150 Cannes Lions customers for retention in salesforce and managed through the exec team. 
  • Drive growth and data-driven improvement across the entire funnel (acquisition, engagement, and retention) to increase revenue (cross-sell / upsell strategies)
  • Analyse results, highlight learnings, synthesize recommendations, and drive email growth strategy
  • Work with the performance marketing team, the PPC media agency and content teams to deliver the recommendations for customer engagement campaigns
Qualifications/Experience
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new channels as they are launched / be first to market
  • Experience to scaling up channels, user acquisition / retention or business
  • Team management and training experience
  • Highly analytical and numerical
  • Exceptional at Excel, manipulate large data sets
  • Experience with budgeting / forecasting, business planning, reporting and analytics
  • Outstanding communication skills
