Role Overview

We are looking for a python developer to join our growing team of data experts. The responsibilities will be in expanding our data processing and data pipeline architecture. The ideal candidate can work Data Analysts and Data Scientists to advance our product utilizing machine intelligence.

Key Accountabilities

  • Create optimal data pipeline architecture for automated processing and continual data feeds
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements by optimizing data delivery and utilizing cloud infrastructure for greater scalability.
  • Work with analytics and data scientist team members in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
  • Produce production ready code that uses machine learning models and optimized data transfer.
  • Utilize previous experience for designing and implementing solutions.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services will be helpful: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift
  • Background in object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • Work with data in different sources such as relation databases and data in raw forms.
  • Strong skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
  • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
  • Experience with cloud services will be helpful.
  • Successful implementation of 2 or more production or 3+ years of experience in cloud development
  • Several years of developing production ready code
  • Must be in the Salt Lake City area or willing to relocate to the Salt Lake City metro area.
