Job description

This role truly business partners across WGSN to deliver operational HR excellence throughout the full spectrum of activities that drive commercial results as well as ensuring best practice locally that nurtures a high performance culture. Working directly with the Global HR Director within a global remit (EMEA, LATAM, NAM, APAC) you will be the driving force in this small but impactful team.
 
You will have accountability & impact opportunity for the following key areas:
 ER - Ensure compliance to local employment law whilst challenging to improve best practice through collaborating with line managers with innovative solutions
Commercial Acumen & HR Operations – Ensure process excellence to drive consistency in communication whilst minimising risk to business through effective management of work & projects continually raising the profile of HR within WGSN
Talent & Reward – Manage robust talent management processes through the employee lifecycle through facilitating a line manager led approach from recruitment through to succession planning & performance review
Learning & Development - Devise & deliver current coaching/training to the business  as appropriate as well as owning the management of the 1 direct report
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Proven Generalist experience at HRBP level with delivery of tangible results within a global remit
  • ‘Can do’ attitude that expresses itself through resilience, being collaborative & being change savvy
  • Tried & tested Employment law experience; including TUPE, change management & providing solutions to contentious issues
  • 2nd to none stakeholder management skills at all levels that inspire confidence as well as empathy
  • Proven track record in organising and delivering corporate training
  • Highly organised & self-motivated with the ability & desire to initiate value add projects
  • Analytical with a strong attention to detail working with pace to achieve customer focussed results 
  • Clear communicator with excellent presentation skills
Previous line management experience
