Are you passionate about content? Do you have excellent data acumen? If so, this could be the opportunity for you! WGSis on the hunt for a talented Web Content Analyst to work with our global content and marketing teams. The successful candidate will deliver excellent web analysis, using Google Analytics and SQL.
You will use data analytics to understand WGSN’s customers and what’s driving their behaviour on our digital products. This analysis will be used to support WGSN’s content planning and inform our commercial strategy.
In this highly visible role, you will need to be comfortable not only analysing and interpreting website data but making concrete recommendations to key stakeholders. The successful applicant will also be equipped to help the broader business understand web usage to enable change and innovation across the organization.
 
Main responsibilities:
 
Analytics:
  • Utilise deep knowledge of Google Analytics to interpret the performance of digital content and propose actionable insights
  • Deliver regular reports and dashboards with recommendations to improve revenue, site performance and efficiency
  • Define measurement strategy for our WGSN platforms by identifying data requirements and ensure ongoing data quality
  • Respond to ad hoc requests including web analytics and assorted marketing / sales requests
Business Support:
  • Provide support and guidance to key stakeholders across content, marketing and sales and including executives
  • Analyse marketing campaign performance and customer behaviour to optimize conversion
  • Champion the benefits of data-driven decisions, particularly within the WGSN content team
  • Communicate findings and progress with internal stakeholders in a clear, timely and easy- to-understand manner
 
Skills and experience:
 
  • 2-3 years of experience using Google Analytics (or similar web analytics tool) with a proven and demonstrable record of success
  • Ability to communicate with global teams, diverse cultures and a multitude of stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering high-quality presentations to executive stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Competent in SQL and Tableau with experience using in a business setting
  • Knowledge of statistics and database concepts
  • Ability to work independently and within a team; multi-task, drive projects and meet deadlines
  • Goal oriented and self-motivated; goes the extra mile to get things done
 
Qualifications:
 
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • 2-3 years of experience with digital data analysis or a closely related field
  • At least one year of experience using Google Analytics or similar web analytics tool.
  • At least one year of experience using SQL to extract data from large dataset
